The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist Reveals Cast And Jan 7 Debut
On December 11, the official website for the anime adaptation of Kiichi Kosuzu’s A Record of the Strongest Onmyōji’s Reincarnation to Another World light novel series, released a second promotional video for the anime.
The promotional video revealed the anime’s cast and January 7 premiere. The anime will air on the AT-X channel, Tokyo MX, BS 1, d anime store, and DMM TV. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japan.

Ryōsuke Shibuya is directing the anime at Studio Blanc, with Nobuyoshi Nagayama credited as chief director. Touko Machida is writing and supervising the scripts, and Masayoshi Kikuchi and Sayaka Ueno are slated to be the character designers. Arisa Okehazama is composing the music.
The band Angela will perform the series’ opening theme song “Reincarnation.” The ending theme will song “Link,” will be performed by cast members Azumi Waki, Nene Hieda, and Akari Kitō.
The plot of the novels revolves around Haruyoshi, who is the strongest onmyōji (diviner) in his world. He is betrayed by his closest friends and when is at his death bed, he wishes to be happy in his next life.
He attempts a secret reincarnation spell and it is a success. Although he is reincarnated, he realises he’s born into another world. He is reborn into a distinguished family of wizards, but is judged due to his lack of magical ability.
He soon realizes however that the magic in this world is nothing compared to his old onmyō arts, and he declares that he doesn’t need magic. He thus begins his easy life in another world with his onmyō arts.
Kosuzu began publishing the novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in December 2018, and the most recent update was in April 2021.
About The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist In Another World
Saikyō Onmyōji no Isekai Tenseiki (A Record of the Strongest Onmyōji’s Reincarnation to Another World) is a light novel series written by Kiichi Kosuzu. It began serialization in December 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
It follows a powerful diviner Haruyoshi who casts a reincarnation spell before dying, and is reborn in another world without magical powers. He realizes that the magic here is weaker than what he had and continues to use his old exorcist tricks.
The anime adaptation is set to come out on January 7, 2023.
