Episode 7 teased us that the Ray-Emma-Norman trio was most likely going to break because of their difference in ideologies.
Emma promised Norman that she will find Mujika and Sonju in exchange for saving the demons from annihilation.
However, Norman turned into the ‘Eren Yeager’ of The Promised Neverland. He is ready to take bold steps in order to ensure a safe future for humanity.
But, how far will he go to achieve his goals? We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.

The preview video features a new character with long white hair, whom we haven’t met before. He is probably the person whose voice we heard at the end of Episode 7.
The person takes Norman to a mysterious place, where he is made to take some aptitude tests. This may be a part of an experiment. I think all these scenes are flashbacks from Norman’s memories at the testing site.
Back to the present, Ray and Emma are getting chased by a demonic creature when Ray aims an arrow towards it.They must have got engaged with it while searching from Sonju and Mujika in the forest.
Meanwhile, Norman is seen coughing out blood, and it seems that Norman and all his subordinates are suffering from an incurable disease. However, Norman’s symptoms look way worse compared to the others.
In the previous episode, we saw how Barbara collapsed suddenly, and Vincent revealed that they have a little time left. This makes me wonder if all of them are going to die soon.

I. Is Promised Neverland on Break This Week?
Episode 8 of The Promised Neverland will be released as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.
3. Episode 7 Recap.
I. The Evil-blooded Girl
Norman narrates to Emma and Ray the story of the evil-blooded girl who was considered to be dead. She had the ability to sustain her current form without consuming human flesh, and her blood can turn any demon.
Many centuries ago, Mujika tried to turn some of the demons into civilized creatures who do not require human flesh to survive, thereby saving a town from starving.
But such a move wasn’t well accepted by the King and the nobles since they can no longer control their subjects by regulating the food supply to them.
As a result, all the demons who shared Mujika’s blood were captured, slaughtered, and eaten by other demons.
Norman assures that things will go the same way if they try to change all the demons, so the only way out for extermination of the entire demon race to save humanity.
Moreover, the existence of Mujika poses a threat to Norman’s plan since she can cure the drug-affected demons with her blood.
II. A Deal Between Emma and Norman
Emma reveals that she is against the idea of the annihilation of the entire demon race.
She believes that there are innocent demons out there who are trying hard to survive in the wretched world, and no one has the right to take away life from them.
Norman acknowledges Emma’s idea but doesn’t agree with her. The dream Emma is chasing is very unlikely to come true ever, whereas Norman’s plan is more certain and assures that humanity will survive.
Norman adds that they have to kill Sonju and Mujika as soon as possible since they can hamper the entire plan. Such an offer is unacceptable for Emma since they helped them to survive in the forests.
Finally, both of them make a deal that Emma will find and bring Sonju and Mujika, and in exchange, Norman has to drop his plan of annihilating the demons.
