The Promised Neverland is a story about three orphaned kids, Emma, Norman and Ray, living in an orphanage.
The kids in the orphanage have fun, play around and have complete freedom, but they are not allowed past the orphanage walls as they are told that strange beings lurk outside.
Unrest settles upon the minds of Emma, Norman and Ray when they figure out the real motives behind the Orphanage and that the kids are being raised to be food for the creatures outside. They vow to run away from the place together.
The Promised Neverland Franchise is back with a live-action movie set to premiere on December 18, 2020. A shiver-inducing trailer and a visual poster have been released.
The poster features Emma, Ray, Norman, along with Mother, Krone and some kids of the orphanage. The poster also features a still of the kids trying to run away and their Grace Field House Orphanage.
The trailer showcases Emma, Norman and Ray going about their daily life playing with kids from the Grace Field House Orphanage and enjoying their happy life.
The scene shifts to Emma and Norman discovering the horror that the house has kept hidden. We see Emma, Norman and Ray vow to run away from the house of horrors and save the lives of the innocent children in the orphanage.
The trailer also introduces the theme song for the film “Tadashiku Narenai” (It Can’t Be Right) performed by the Rock Band Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni (Zutomayo).
Yuichiro Hirakawa has directed “The Promised Neverland” and it has a stellar cast as well.

About The Promised Neverland
Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.
It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.
The orphans are allowed complete freedom, except to venture beyond the grounds or the gate, which connects the house to the outside world.
One night, Emma comes to know the truth about the Orphanage and it’s connections to the demons.
Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma join with Ray to find a way to escape along with their other siblings.
