Over the past couple of weeks, most of the world has been put on lockdown due to the COVID 19 pandemic. First large social gatherings were prohibited, and now only essential places are open to flatten the curve.
The world of anime and manga is no exception; workplaces of many production houses are being shut down, causing delays in many release schedules.
While the other Shonen mangas are on a 2-week hiatus, it looks like fans will have to wait longer than that for the Emma and gang to reach their “promised neverland.”
The Promised Neverland manga released its 175th chapter recently in the 20th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. After this, the manga will be on a 4-week long break and will resume publishing in May 2020, if not longer.
Chapter 175 gave Peter some answers concerning his renowned ancestry as it worked out that it runs inside his group also. After finding the disloyalty that happened 1000 years prior, James arranged defiance as he currently realizes that Julius had sold out his group and that the Ratiri’s commitment has been a revile.
Seeing his sibling cause obliteration made Peter freeze as he needed to do his obligations. He, despite everything, would not like to acknowledge that his family’s ancestry was a curse paying little mind to what the Ratiri tribe has done before.
Other manga titles which have been delayed include:
- Act-age 11
- I’m From Japan 6
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 20
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 20 special edition with postcard set bundle
- Haikyu!! 43
- Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru 5
- Guardian of the Witch 1
