The Owl House is an American animated fantasy show that flexes fantastic characters and a great storyline. In the ongoing second season, the main protagonists are working on different methods to send Luz back to the human realm. Other than that, situations are also getting tricky for Eda.

3. Recap of Episode 5
Gus is feeling down after an attempt to help Willow resulted in her getting injured. Luz asks Gus to accompany her to the library but gets distracted by a gang of students from Glandus High. Impressed with them, Luz convinces him to join them on an outing.
The students Bria, Gavin, Angmar, and Mattholomule, take Gus to the Looking Glass Ruins to collect Galderstones which empower their magic except for illusion-based ones. Gus impresses them by using Luz’s glyphs.
When they get to the ruins, Gus realizes that it is an illusionists’ graveyard and is attacked by the guardian. Unfortunately, the guardian turns out to be an illusion created by the eccentric Braxas.
The Glands students take advantage of this and trap Gus and Braxas, but a guilt-ridden Mattholomule helps free them, and they scare the trio away. Afterward, Gus and Mattholomule seemingly become friends and promise to help Braxas.
Meanwhile, Luz arrives at the library and finds Philip Wittebane, a human who also arrived at the Boiling Isles. She meets up with Amity, who reluctantly helps her enter the forbidden section of the library but must avoid her boss Malphas.
They find Philip’s journal, but a mouse devoured the contents angering Luz and alerting them to Malphas, who fires Amity, much to both girls’ sadness. Amity confides in her siblings her feelings for Luz, and they redye her hair purple.
Luz arrives with the news that she got Amity her job back, and Amity shows that the mouse, dubbed an Echo Mouse, can replay the contents of what it has eaten. As Luz thanks Amity, she receives a kiss on her cheek, which flusters them both.

The Owl House is an American animated fantasy television series created by Dana Terrace that premiered on Disney Channel on January 10, 2020. The series stars the voices of Sarah-Nicole Robles, Wendie Malick, and Alex Hirsch.
Luz Noceda is a teenage human girl who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to another world instead of going to a juvenile detention summer camp. She arrives on an archipelago known as the Boiling Isles, formed from the remains of a dead Titan, and befriends the rebellious witch Eda Clawthorne (alias “The Owl Lady”) and her adorable demon roommate King.
Despite not having magical abilities, Luz pursues her dream of becoming a witch by serving as Eda’s apprentice at the Owl House and ultimately finds a new family in an unlikely setting.
The second season, directly following the events of the first season finale, will follow the main protagonists working together to return Luz to the Human Realm, help Eda confront her inner demons, and search for the truth about King’s past.
