Darryl Philbin Craig Robinson is the latest star of Peacock’s Killing It. Having gained popularity from shows like The Office and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Robinson will be the star of the new comedy project for the Peacock streaming service.
Very little is known about the latest Peacock show Killing It. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedy explores class, capitalism and one man’s quest to achieve the American dream.
It is also about hunting really big snakes. Well, it is literally Killing It after all. The series has received a script-to-series commitment.
It means that if the executives like the script, it would trigger a series order and bypass the traditional pilot development process. Brooklyn Nine-Nine executive producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici will write the script and be executive producers along with Robinson and his manager, Mark Schulman.
So in a way ‘Killing It’ marks a reunion for the actor with Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici.
Craig Phillip Robinson is an American actor, comedian, musician and singer. Apart from starring on The Office, Robinson played the role of Doug Judy on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Killing It is the latest comedy in the works at NBC Universal’s streaming arm, Peacock.
The streamer this week also handed out a script-to-series commitment to an untitled comedy starring Damon Wayans Jr written by the trio of writers behind his former cult hit Happy Endings.
Meanwhile, in 2020 alone, Robinson has been a part of What We Do in the Shadows” (2020), “Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made” (2020) and “Medical Police” (2020).
