He accepts his death and says Clark can now take the mantle of Captain, but his son storms into the headquarters and has an outburst. The enemy forces surround him and use his final moments as a lesson for his son.

Standing single-handedly against the entirety of the enemy forces, even with his leg stuck in a boulder, he holds his own and trims down the enemy forces one by one. However, they discover his gun weakness, and the bullets rain on him as he lies helpless.

Pride decides to take matters into her own hands and commands Stale to send her to the battlefield using his teleportation ability. He hesitates in sending the Princess to somewhere so dangerous and eventually gives in to her decision as she drops into the battlefield and clears out all the enemies with her incredible swordsmanship.
