After a lot of pandemonium in this week’s episode, The Morning Show will return for the penultimate episode next week.
In episode 8, we get to see Alex and Paul Marks strategize to save their careers after a monstrous scandal unfolds. Meanwhile, Chris gets incessant death threats due to controversial stuff she posted about anti-abortion laws in the US.
The episode ends with Mark and Alex formulating a plan to sell UBA and start things afresh. Will we see UBA getting sold by the end of season 3? Let’s discuss.
1. Episode 9 Synopsis/Speculation
Next week’s episode will continue the dramatic (and draggy) consequences of Alex and Paul’s romantic endeavors. They will face a lot of backlashes from the public, and Paul’s deal with the UBA will become even more complicated.
However, Paul and Alex discuss a strategy to sell UBA and start a new media house with Alex at the helm. Will that come to fruition? I feel the season will conclude with something detrimental happening to the entire company. Either Paul’s bid will be rejected and some other player will be introduced, or he will liquidate the entire company.

Moreover, Bradley is hell-bent on digging up Hyperion’s history to unveil all the shady things Paul Marks has done. Stella and Cory are also helping her, and I suspect Stella will be instrumental because of her past with Mark.
After all, we know that Mark stole Stella’s idea back in college to become a billionaire himself.
Elsewhere, Mia and Andre have already rekindled their romance. However, the going might not be smooth. Andre is a war correspondent who has seen it all in his travels. The Morning Show will surely touch up on his struggles with imminent PTSD from the horrors of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Lastly, the next episode should draw the curtains on the Roe vs. Wade case. The UBA journalists will try to present a balanced and neutral perspective of the historic decision, dotted with controversy and criticism.

The Roe vs. Wade court case continues in episode 8 of The Morning Show season 3, as protests spark nationwide. Chris becomes a target of hatred from the public after her ‘abort the court’ post goes viral.
Meanwhile, Alex and Mark’s secret romance has been leaked, and the scandal has caught public attention. This coerces Marks to plan an escape route, and he proposes liquidating UBA and starting things afresh with Alex.
However, Cory and Stella dig up secrets of the Hyperion to unveil Mark’s dark past and sabotage his UBA deal. Elsewhere, Alex fires Chip after a big fight between them and considers leaving UBA for good.
The episode ends with Mia learning that Andre is alive and having an altercation with her lover. However, they patch things up, ending on a pretty good note for Andre and Mia.
