The misfit of the Demon King Academy is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.

After 2000 years, the ruthless Demon King was finally reincarnated, only to find the History about his existence to be misinterpreted and wrongly passed down. Not only are his descendants lacky, but also their magic spells are filled with errors.

Episode 2, titled “The Witch of Destruction,” begins with the event of 2000 years ago when the Demon King – Anos Voldigord meets with the Hero Kanon to have peace talks.

First reluctant to believe that the Demon King could want peace, Kanon finally agrees to Anos’s plan to sacrifice himself to put up walls between Infernal, Human, Spirit, and Heavenly Realm.

They also install a door that is sealed for at least 1000 years. He is sure he will be reincarnated after 2000 years and happily gets slain by the Hero, who thanks him and wants to be reincarnated as friends in their next life.

II. The labels won’t stop him.

Currently labeled as the misfit of the academy, Anos and Misha start another class where they are assigned team activity.

At first, their teacher is against Anos trying to become a team leader because he is a hybrid. He makes her swallow her words by correcting her high-level spell and explaining how the History of the Demon King is grossly misinterpreted.

However, Sasha Necron arrogantly challenges him to a team battle to prove the superiority of pure-blood descendants. Setting the rules of the duel to be – if she loses, she joins his team, but if Sasha wins, she owns his existence.

During the day of the match, Anos achieves victory over Sasha team in seconds and uses the bare minimum of his powers.

Again, proving his strength and absolute power, Anos has Sasha join his team for Misha, who wants to make up with her older sister (Sasha). The episode ends with dinner at Anos’s house, and Sasha gives him a sneaky kiss.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy, also known as Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha, is a Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.

The series initially began as an amateur web novel in April 2017 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by ASCII Media Works, which officially began to publish it in March 2018.

A manga adaptation by Kayaharuka launched online in July 2018, and an anime television series adaptation by Silver Link premiered on July 4, 2020.

It tells the story of History’s Strongest Demon King, who reincarnates after 2000 years and goes to Delsgade School (which trains young demons) with his descendants.

However, after his reincarnation, he finds out that the world is too used to peace that his descendants became too weak due to a colossal weakening in magical powers.
