Things are finally looking up after the “state of emergency” was lifted from Japan. Numerous anime and manga- broadcast and release, which were delayed are starting to get back on track.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy, scheduled for an April debut, was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and its new release date is on July 4th.

It is a Japanese light novel series adapted into an anime by Silver Link studio.
The official website for the anime announced the release date, new PV, and OP theme. The second key visual has also been released.
The anime will be broadcast on Japanese TV on July 4th on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, BS11, and AT-X (every Saturday at 23: 30). The anime will also be broadcast on TV Aichi (July 5th, every Sunday) and Yomiuri TV (July 6th, every Monday). The series will be simultaneously streamed on d Anime Store from July 4th.
This video gives us a glimpse into the world of the Demon King Academy with some dark visuals.
The video is accompanied by the opening theme of the series: “Correct and Incorrect” by CIVILIAN. The three-member rock band have also left their own comments on the theme song.

Shin Ōnuma and Masafumi Tamura are in charge of directing the anime. The script is by Jin Tanaka and music by Keiji Inai.
The original light novel was written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The novel has a manga adaptation that was serialized by Square Enix.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History’s Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants is a Japanese light novel series by Shu and Yoshinori Shizuma.
Anoth, the demon king, is tired of his conquests and decides to reincarnate himself. However, when he awakens after 2000 years, he finds the world too peaceful and weak for his liking. As he attends the Demon King Academy, his powers are found to be off the charts and is thus deemed as a misfit in the school.
