The pandemic has left a massive impact on the anime industry, and numerous anime series had to go on a delay. However, now that the State of Emergency in Japan has been lifted, release schedules are getting on track.
The Millionaire Detective: Balance UNLIMITED debuted on 9th April, but had to go on a hiatus after broadcasting only two episodes.
The series is supposed to be rebroadcast from episode 1 starting from 16th July. The new episode 3 will air on 30th July.

The promotional video contains short clips from the anime hinting on the upcoming plot development. Daisuke and Haru are polar opposites, and we glimpse moments of disagreements between them.
It also features the opening theme song of the anime, “Navigator” by the boy group SixTONES.
The official website of the anime also declared a pre-screening of the episodes every Saturday and Sunday at Noitamina Cafe & Theatre (Aqua City Odaiba 4F). The pre-screenings will be held from 11th July to 4th October.
Aniplex of America was simulcasting the series, and new episodes can be streamed on Funimation from 30th July.
The Millionaire Detective is a far cry from the usual detective genre anime or manga. Unlike the economically struggling and moral police of other anime, Daisuke is the owner of an insane amount of wealth.
He uses this wealth to outright bribe suspects or uses it to simplify the investigation procedure. This attitude is not liked by many in his department.
About Balance UNLIMITED
The Millionaire Detective is an anime created inspired by a novel of the same name by Yasutaka Tsutsui. It is produced by studio CloverWorks.
The anime follows the wealthy detective, Daisuke Kanbe, who is partnered with Haru Katou to solve cases. Daisuke likes to blatantly use his wealth to investigate much to the dislike of Haru.
They are teamed together to crack a particularly tough case. The anime is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Yasutaka Tsutsui.
