What do you think will happen if a world experiences 800 years’ worth of peace? Well, security gets a bit lax, and Gods are taken for granted.
Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi anime will show off the powers of the deities who have protected the Earth to achieve prolonged peace!
As humans start to have evil intent, the Gods will once again face their worst nightmares in the upcoming anime.
The Idaten Deities Only Know Peace anime will premiere on 23rd July. MAPPA STAGE 2021 – 10th Anniversary has revealed a brand new trailer for the anime!
The trailer holds proof that Idaten Deities will be pretty different from the other works of MAPPA. With its pop-colored PV and incredible action scenes, the anime is set to be a hit in its genre!
Of course, a lot of new characters who are powerful Idaten deities are shown! Protea also catches our attention as I am curious if he has a unique role to play.
A dormant demon has been awakened, and we are yet to see just how the deities will be dealing with the problems. While the first trailer focused more on the Hayato, Easly, and Paula trio, this one deals with the plot.
Seija no Koushin, the anime’s opening theme by Tatsuya Kitani, is also previewed in the trailer.

The main cast and staff members have already been announced. With each new detail getting revealed, MAPPA is slowly heightening the excitement for the anime.
Of course, I won’t complain, especially when the trailers are so good that you want to keep watching them again and again.
MAPPA is going all out with all the anime releases, and Idaten Deities is set to be a great addition to the studio’s production list.
