The anime adaptation of Miyuki Tonogaya’s The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague released a promotional video and a new key visual for the anime at the Animate Girls Festival 2022 on November 6.
The promotional video revealed the television anime’s staff, ending theme song artists, and a January 4 premiere date.
Based on the romantic-comedy manga of the same name written by Miyuki Tonogaya, The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague is being directed by Mankyu and is being produced by Studio ZERO-G and Liber.
The series composition is being handled by Tomoko Konparu and Miyako Kano is in charge of character designs. The music composer for the series will be Ruka Kawada. The chief animation directors are set to be Miyako Kano and Yuji Ushijima, with Eiji Iwase as the art director.
Takao Sakuma will perform the anime’s opening theme song, “Frozen Midnight,” followed by Nowlu performing “Linaria” for the ending theme song.

The plot of this fantasy romance revolves around a young man named Himuro-kun, a modern-day descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore, and his nonchalant and eccentric colleague, Fuyutsuki.
Himuro-kun tends to freeze things around him and summon snowstorms when he is agitated, and he also happens to be harboring a secret crush on Fuyutsuki.
However, the frozen objects and storms do not faze her, as she seems almost completely oblivious to anything happening around her.
The manga is still ongoing, and its seventh tankoubon volume will be released on December 21 this year. The manga is being serialized on Gangan Pixiv and published under the Gangan Comic Pixiv label.
