Episode 6 Recap
Miyuki, Shizuku, Honoks, and Eimi get selected for the school team to compete in the Nine Schools Competition. Tatsuya is selected to adjust their CADs and train them, aiming to win for the third year in a row at the National Magic High School Tournament of Magic Skills.
At the social gathering on the inauguration day, Miyuki and the others from First High School reach the venue after escaping a bus accident. They meet Isshiki Airi, Kanou Shiori, and Tsukushiin Touko from Third High School.
To find which illustrious family Miyuki belongs to, Airi walks up to her and introduces herself. But on knowing that she does not come from a well-known family, she laughs off. Later, Hanako reveals to Shizuku that Airi is the daughter of the reputed Isshikis house.
The ten days of the competition start the following day. Mayumi performs incredibly on the first and wins the match the third time in a row. Next, when Mari competes with Mizuo of the Third High School, she meets with an accident and gets hospitalized.
On realizing that their team is getting behind the other teams, Mayumi suggests modifying the strategies. So all the participants of the First High School gather together to discuss further.
Mayumi suggests focusing on the official events. The team agrees and comes to the conclusion that Miyuki will take Mari’s place in the official mirage bat event rather than the rookie event.
On the other hand, every one of the Third High School congratulates Mizuo for the win, but she is not happy. Mizuho walks up to Airi and asks her to defeat Miyuki in the official mirage bat event to show everyone how powerful they are.

About The Irregular at Magic High School
The Irregular at Magic High School is based on a web novel series by Tsutomu Sato, published on an internet web novel website between 2008 and 2011.
