1. Episode 2 Preview & Speculation
It is now confirmed that the series is Miyumi’s spinoff. This is great news for Miyumi’s fans as we will learn about things and events from her perspective.
However, it’s unclear why and when she became so obsessed with Tatsuya. Because, until the end of the main series, Miyuki disliked Tatsuya and didn’t want him as her bodyguard. Hopefully, we will get an answer soon.
Also, with how prevalent Honoka and Shizuku are in the OP, I expect to see more of them as well.

3. Episode 1 Recap
The episode starts with Shiba Miyuki rescuing two siblings at a mall burning in fire. She believes it to be her fate as a magician.
Later, at home, Miyuki’s brother Tatsuya calibrates Miyuki’s CAD. It’s her birthday, so Tatsuya asks what she wants, to which Miyuki asks him to spend an entire day with her. The siblings step out together, and later Tatsuya buys a hairclip for her, made by a renowned magician.
The duo continues their day out until Tatsuya gets a call from Maya Yotsuba, head of Yotsuba’s of the Ten Master Clans, who also happens to be their aunt. After asking Miyuki to wait there, Tatsuya heads to the Magicians’ Association.
While Miyuki waits, she thinks about how one cannot refuse Yotsuba’s request as a member of Ten Master Clans. She feels bad for her brother being used by her aunt as a pawn and feels frustrated for not being able to do anything.
At the association, Tatsuya meets Hayama Tadanori, who tells him to deal with a crazy magician. Hayama tells him that the magician is already present in the mall to target the Magicians’ Association. On hearing this, Tatsuya rushes off to save Miyuki.
Back in the mall, Miyuki realizes that some kind of magic is involved in the fire accident when sprinkles don’t work. She figures out that the fire was triggered by a powerful magician and rushes to save people.
Miyuki then sees a magician misusing his magic power to set the mall on fire and gets angered. She uses her own magic to put out the flames. Tatsuya pulls out his CAD, but before Miyuki could do anything, a little girl comes in front of Miyuki.
This gives the magician a chance to target the little girl. However, Miyuki saves her but loses Tatsuya’s present in the process. Miyuki comes closer to the magician and freezes him solid. Suddenly, Tatsuya arrives and takes Miyuki and the little girl out of the mall.
Later, as Hayama reports to Yotsuba about the mission being completed, Yotsuba comments she feels Miyuki did most of the work but will not object this time. However, she will not hesitate to do so if Miyuki will not be careful in the future.
