4. The Handmaid’s Tale S5’s Plot
Before going into The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5, I bet you’d like to know what to expect.
As you may remember, coming to their wit’s end, June and other Gilead survivors beat Commander Fred Waterford in the woods, closing Season 4 with his death.
It’s obvious that S5 will depict how June is to face the consequences of these actions, especially since Waterford’s widow Serena begins schemes of her own. Plus, June cannot lose sight of her ultimate mission of reuniting with Hannah.
Aunt Lydia will once again be in the spotlight, as Commander Lawrence works with her trying to reform Gilead and bring it to its former glory.
Talking about Aunt Lydia, she’s also a central character in Margaret Atwood’s sequel The Testaments, which is getting a show of its own too. Perhaps The Handmaid’s Tale S5 and S6 will sow seeds to this story as well.
5. About The Handmaid’s Tale
