A man who fell 30 feet off a scaffolding is brought into the ER by Asher. The man goes into respiratory failure. Alex and Shaun have a disagreement over the course of treatment. Shaun is adamant to save his patient and doesn’t want to consider the possibility of organ donation before he tries to do everything he can to save the patient.
Morgan asks Salen for full control over the clinic and tells her that she can make it profitable. Salen accepts her proposal. Lea tries to convince Aaron to come back to San Jose and tells him about how she altered Shaun’s feedback results to improve his scores. Alex tries to persuade Shaun for organ donation so he can save his patient. Shaun gets angry and tells Alex if he doesn’t stop he’ll report him.
After he attempts the surgery, he finally comes to terms with the fact that his efforts are futile and speaks to the patient’s father about the possibility of organ donation. His father agrees and the organ donation helps 63 people.
