Crunchyroll is pioneering this wave of Korean Manhwa into the anime scene. It began the anime adaptation for the Tower of God back in April and also announced an adaptation for The God Of High School back in February.
The God of Highschool recently announced that the anime is set to premiere on 6 July and would have an English dub as well. Along with this announcement, they also revealed some new visuals for the series.
Their official Twitter Page has been quite active recently. On Sunday it revealed that the show’s opening theme will be by KSUKE and the closing theme will be by CIX.
Crunchyroll had previously released the official trailer along with the new character designs for the series back in May.The trailer also revealed the cast and the staff working on the series.
Fans gladly welcome this new wave of anime adaptations for South Korean webtoons as it was an untapped goldmine until now. Hopefully, the success of these animes will bring more webtoon titles into the anime scene.
