The episode was comprised of lots of sweet moments between the two. The titular incident occurred near the end of the episode. Komura got a lot of moments to blush and act shy.

Komura and Mei will go to a science museum in episode 9 of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, titled “I Went on a Field Trip with The Girl I Like.”

I hope the next episode will provide us with something different from the usual. Seeing Mei wearing her glasses in the preview was a relief, so that’s a start. They will go on a field trip, and Komura is dying to have Mei in her group.

We saw Mei crying for some reason in the preview. I think it has something to do with getting left behind or not being able to spend time with Komura.

Komura finds Mei sitting on a swing in the park. She tells him that she is waiting for her mom. She asks if he can push her on the swing. Komura is hesitant but finally agrees.

While doing so, he starts panicking, thinking she might be exposing herself from the front. He gets scared and stops abruptly. Mei tells him not to worry as she wears pants, causing him to blush even harder.

In school, while arranging benches, Komura’s gaming card falls in front of Mei. He tells her that it is an Apple Card, but she thinks of it as something else. During recess, she offers her slice of apple to Komura.

At night, Mei calls Komura by mistake. She tells him that she wanted to head to the washroom but didn’t have her glasses and was quite scared. She tells Komura to sing for her.

He sings but gets silent when his mom wakes up. After she leaves, he starts talking to her again and helps her reach the washroom. She returns to her room, and they say good night to each other.

During swimming classes, Komura’s friend tells him that he is staring too hard at Mei. Mei’s friend also tells her about it, causing some blushing from both sides.

After school, Komura finds Azuma with a girl. He hides behind a tree, but a cat continuously makes noises. Mei comes there searching for the cat. She finally reunites with the cat.

Komura gets worried that Mei might interrupt the moment. She starts coming out in the open, and in a hurry, Komura pulls her towards him. The girl proposes to Azuma and gets rejected (poor girl).

Mei realizes her mistake. Komura thinks about proposing to her like that someday.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses or “Sukimega” (Suki na Ko ga Megane o Wasureta) is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Koume Fujichika.

It follows the spectacled girl Ai Mie and her deskmate, Kaede Komura, who is in love with her. Kaede wants Ai to notice him, and finds her adorable when she’s squiting her eyes after forgetting her glasses.

Ai has a tendency to forget her glasses and Kaede often helps her out because of it. Unknown to Ai, Kaede’s feelings keep on growing and soon he becomes the person she looks forward to seeing despite the bad eyesight.
