Komura and Mei enjoy Valentine’s Day chocolate in episode 5 of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, titled “I Met with The Girl I Like on Valentine’s Day.”

It was a sweet and wholesome episode. Just as we wished, the whole episode focused on only Valentine’s Day, and that was a great thing. Komura was reluctant to ask for chocolates from Mei, but he did manage to get some friendship chocolate.

He was on the verge of proposing her but stopped himself. On White Day, after much effort, he was finally able to give her his chocolate.

2. Episode 6 Speculations

Mei and Komura will start their new terms in episode 6 of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, titled “The Girl I Like and I Welcomed The New School Term.”

It’s time for the event all the couples are always anxious about, seating arrangement. Komura is worried about not getting to sit near his crush. From the preview, we can see that his wish is unlikely to be fulfilled.

That seems to be his only concern for now. Again, we will get some confrontation and wholesome moments between the two, but her forgetting her glasses, again and again, is getting tiring now.

3. Episode 5 Recap

While out to buy ketchup, Komura sees some gifts in a shop and wonders whether he will get some chocolates from Mei this year. Mei shows up out of nowhere, again without her glasses.

Komura is hesitant to ask her about chocolates. She asks her what he wants from her. He tries to skip the question, and they enter the supermarket. In there, too, the question comes up again, but Komura saves himself.

Unfortunately, the topic of chocolate comes up again and again, and in the end, Mei finds out that he was thinking about getting chocolate from her. She tells him she is making chocolates for everyone.

The day arrives, and Mei brings chocolate for everyone (while still forgetting her glasses). She goes to Komura but, unfortunately, she has forgotten the chocolates for him.

She gets very upset. After school, she tells Komura to ask her anything he wants. He decides to propose to her but is too nervous to gather the courage to say it.

She finds chocolate in her pocket and gives it to him. He decides to tell her properly next year. On White Day, she is rather upset because she has gained weight by eating too much chocolate.

She asks Komura to stop her from eating chocolate whenever she is tempted to. She learns that it is White Day and gets desperate to eat chocolate given by her friends.

Finally, seeing her wanting to taste some, he tells her to eat his chocolate if she wants to try out some. She eats them and is delighted by their taste, thanking Komura.

The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses or “Sukimega” (Suki na Ko ga Megane o Wasureta) is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Koume Fujichika.

It follows the spectacled girl Ai Mie and her deskmate, Kaede Komura, who is in love with her. Kaede wants Ai to notice him, and finds her adorable when she’s squiting her eyes after forgetting her glasses.

Ai has a tendency to forget her glasses and Kaede often helps her out because of it. Unknown to Ai, Kaede’s feelings keep on growing and soon he becomes the person she looks forward to seeing despite the bad eyesight.
