Season 2 of The Fruit of Evolution has been officially confirmed. We were ecstatic when we saw Saria discussing the possibility of another season with Seiichi. We now understand why.
The anime’s first season was directed by Yoshiaki Okumara at Children’s Playground Entertainment and Felt, with production handled by Hotline Studios. Minami Eda designed the characters for the U35 illustrations, and Hifumi Inc provided the music.
The anime is licensed globally by Crunchyroll, with TV Tokyo, BS-TV Tokyo, and AT-X maintaining the original Japanese streaming networks.
The Fruit of Evolution Season 2 Release Date & Time
Season 2 of The Fruit of Evolution (shinka no mi) was revealed on the anime’s official website with a new title, True- The Fruit of Evolution, and a new poster visual starring pink gorilla Saria, Seiichi, and Altria-san, as well as a new character.
According to an official trailer released today, season 2 will premiere in January 2023.
Fans have already been assured that a new season would be released, as Saria stated in the post-credits scene that the future plot would be revealed in Season Two, with ‘Hero of Justice’ Galgad serving as the protagonist.
It will include 12 episodes, similar to the first season, with an average running duration of 24 minutes.
However, a release date has yet to be announced by the original anime production studio Hotline or any creators. Still, more information will be available on August 5, 2022, according to the countdown timer set on the anime series official website.
The creators, as expected, released an official trailer on the anime’s website. The trailer depicted Saria and Seiichi fighting Destra and revealed at the end that the anime will premiere in January 2023.
There is no official episode count. However, we may expect this season to feature 12 episodes like the previous season. Crunchyroll will be broadcasting all episodes.
Furthermore, the final episode’s release in December 2021 was pre-planned and quickly announced. On the other hand, Fans are eagerly awaiting the renewal of Takt Op Destiny for season 2 to see more of Takt. Even though Destiny sacrificed herself to become a pendant, Anna remains to play her role as Takt’s music artist.
Hotline Studio has published an official teaser for The Fruit of Evolution Season 2 that includes the series’ official release date. The trailer shows Saria and Seiichi fighting a fierce battle against Destra, who appears to be more potent than the two of them combined.
What will happen in The Fruit of Evolution Season 2?
The story picks up right after episode 12 when Seiichi is riding in a cart with his companions and master magician to Barbados Magical School in The Fruit of Evolution Season 2.
Seiichi runs into Airi, who is looking for him because she believes Seiichi is in trouble because he has few friends at school.
Furthermore, he has previously assisted her, and she wishes to repay the favor. But what happens when she realizes she now has a wife, girlfriend, servant, and a little sister who looks after him?
Most students will not know him since he is an unattractive obese person with no friends and social position. In this realm, however, he is equivalent to a master magician and has been awarded a teaching position at the school they are studying.
Everyone’s shocked expressions will be entertaining, as well as Seiichi’s reaction.
We all know that Seiichi received harsh treatment from most students, but he is kind and will not harm his classmates.

It is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by U35. After the novel began its serialization online, it was acquired by Futabasha and has published fourteen volumes since September 2014.
The story follows a high school recluse named Seiichi Hiiragi, who is transported to another world. Upon a chance encounter with a Gorilla, he decides to be in a relationship with the said Gorilla and uses “The Fruit of Evolution” to change his destiny.
