The Flight Attendant Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
Cassie wakes up after having spent the night with the CIA Agent. She looks at the bottle of alcohol and is relieved to see that it’s still full. Her curiosity gets the best of her and she ends up rifling through the file that Ben has on her. She’s shocked to read a heavily fabricated psych evaluation that the CIA has on her. She has to attend a training for work that day and just as she’s about to leave, Marco shows up since she’d been avoiding him for some time.
She ends up admitting to Marco that she cheated on him when they have an argument and he breaks up with her. She attends her work training reluctantly and ends up having another sour experience. She meets up with Grace, who offers her a drink. As her life implodes, Cassie finally breaks her sobriety and purchases alcohol from a convenience store. She sees Jenny at the store doing the same and tries to persuade her not to drink but isn’t able to stay sober herself.
She tries getting in touch with Dot only to get her voicemail over and over again. She calls Shane for help but his boyfriend picks up and she ends up telling him that Shane is involved with the CIA. Meanwhile, Annie and Max retrieve their belongings from the ‘killer couple.’ Megan is able to retrieve the lockbox in which she’d collected evidence.
