Kaguya-sama and Shirogane finally took their friendship to the next level- the dating part. However, the love rivalry still prevails as none of them has confessed their feelings and asked the other one out officially.
Season 3’s finale was nothing less than a fairytale with Shirogane’s grand romantic gesture and the couple’s first kiss. If you still haven’t watched it, I highly recommend you to because that finale is one of the finest pieces of romance you’ll ever see in anime.
Following their first kiss, Shirogane and Kaguya are bound to experience things they have never felt before. The after-effects of this will be both cute and hilarious, and I’m sure you’ll love it.
All the consequences of this finale will be documented in the movie, ‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War- The First Kiss Never Ends.’ Its latest teaser reveals that the film is slated to come out on December 17, 2022.
The teaser begins with the sound of Christmas, indicating that the story is set during the most underrated romantic time of the year. This comforting music continues in the background as we get another look at the couple’s first kiss.
As the video progresses, Kaguya and Miyuki’s monologues in the backdrop turn into arguments. The sweet and emotionally intimate stuff they were saying about each other took the form of frustrating and aggressive confessions.
Considering how their first kiss didn’t involve a confession, Kaguya and Miyuki will be back on their scheming. They might have kissed in an ultra-romantic setting, but that doesn’t mean they’re dating yet.
To make things official with Miyuki, Kaguya wants him to say it out loud and clearly. However, the president fails to realize that he’s supposed to do this and that the grand romantic gesture wasn’t enough (boys, amirite?).
Moreover, the franchise will screen ‘an episode long’ footage from the film at Anime NYC on November 19. If you can’t wait till December, I think you should get your passes for the event as soon as possible.
Jokes aside, while Kaguya does understand that she and Shirogane are now dating, she wants him to be confident about it. Kaguya wishes that Shirogane wants a proper proposal and wants the president to admit his feelings about her.
Needless to say, this movie’s going to be a wild one, and I can’t wait for it.
