Everyone blames the Wyvern killer for the mishap, even though Will did much to help them.
Even Will is blaming himself for something he couldn’t have possibly helped. He thinks Menel got hurt because he overestimated his strength, but why does he need to punish himself for it?
Does Will plan to leave Menel, Tonio, and Bee? In the end, he is seen walking away quietly, almost as if he is planning to give his crew the slip. Will he come back?

Episode 11 Recap
Ethelbald grants Will the rank of a paladin and resources to help the villagers. The once ruined and almost abandoned villages are now thriving.
Will and his band of warriors kill the demons plaguing the village. Now that the territory is relatively safe, more merchants show up to sell their wares. The best businessman in town is Tonio.
He makes a considerable profit from selling and lending to small businesses. He is so well off that he is considering opening his own trading company. Bishop Bagley sends priests, including Anna, to help out.
Other villages call upon him to help out. Pip and his men had gone out to survey the surrounding areas, but they’ve been missing for more than ten days.
When they go down to the valley, they find the bodies of Pip’s squad on the path. The gears belonging to the corpses are strewn about, meaning they were fleeing something. That is when Chimera demons ambush Will and his people.
A dangerous fight ensues, and Menel gets hurt badly. Will slaughters the rest of the monsters and tries to heal Menel, but his injuries and fatigue cause him to faint. As soon as he wakes up, he looks for Menel.
Will keeps blaming himself for foolishly putting Menel’s life in danger, and he goes out in the rain to heal Menel. As soon as he is done, Will leaves quietly.
