Beloved Fantasy Series ‘The Faraway Paladin’ Returns for Season 2!

I just finished watching Season 1 of “The Faraway Paladin,” and I simply cannot recommend it enough. It’s really good, and I urge all fans of the fantasy/magic RPG genre to watch it.

The anime has a unique storyline and well-developed characters that will keep you engaged throughout the entire season. The animation and soundtrack are also top-notch, making it a must-watch for any anime lover.

Well, I have good news for the fans: the official website for the television anime of Kanata Yanagino’s The Faraway Paladin (Saihate no Paladin) light novel series revealed on Friday that the show’s second season will premiere this fall. The site also revealed the show’s first promotional video, main staff, main cast, and teaser visual. The second season is titled The Faraway Paladin: The King of the Iron Rust Mountain.

Shōya Chiba will voice Will as an adult. Maki Kawase is still credited as the voice of Will as a young child and as a boy, reprising the role from the first season, and other returning cast members include:

  • Ayumu Murase as Menel
  • Eri Suzuki as Robina Goodfellow (Bee)
  • Koji Yusa as Tonio
  • Kenji Nomura as Reystov
  • Minoru Inaba as Bart Bagley
  • Atsushi Tamaru as Ethelbald
  • Aoi Yuki as Gracefeel
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Blood
  • Yui Horie as Mary
  • Nobuo Tobita as Gus

As for the staff, Akira Iwanaga is the new director of the anime at OLM and Sunrise Beyond. Tatsuya Takahashi is again overseeing the series scripts. Tatsuya Arai is a new character designer alongside returning character designer Koji Haneda. Ryuuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi from MONACA are returning to compose the music.

That’s all we have for now. To be honest, I’m on cloud seven, as one of my favorites is returning once again with the same cast and crew.
