Watch out, John Wick! Because the legendary hitman “The Fable” is here to kick some ass, pull off ridiculous stunts, and have some heart to heart with a disabled girl!
Well, I guess the last part about encouraging disabled people is not your typical hitman-type action, but that’s because Akira Sato (Fable) is not your typical hitman.
The live-action movie is based on the namesake manga by Katsuhisa Minami. The series went on to win the 41st Kodansha Manga Award and spawned a live-action movie.
The sequel live-action movie, “The Fable: A Contract Killer Who Doesn’t Kill,” is set for a release on 18th June worldwide. The mangaka Katsuhisa Minami specially drew manga-esque illustrations of the main cast to celebrate the announcement.

We can see the side-by-side comparison of the actor Junichi Okada to his counterpart Akira Sato “the Fable.”
The trailer gives us a glimpse into the daily life of the Fable as he tries to live his mundane life with his partner Yoko Sato. We also see Fable bonding with a disabled girl, Hinako Saba.
However, peace not that long-lived as trouble comes knocking when the villain Utsubo and his lackeys set people up for extortion.
The movie’s theme song is “Rain on me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

A hitman who goes on sabbatical is sincerely one of the most original stories that I have ever heard of. Additionally, the feel-good vibes of the movie are very enticing in these times.
However, there seems to be much more to the story than it seems to meet the eye in the trailer. How will Fable and Hinako Saba’s story unfold? Will Fable kill someone?
To find out more, don’t miss the theatrical release this summer!

It has been adapted into a famous live-action series in 2019 that will receive a sequel in 2021.
Fable is an expert hitman who is the best in his field. However, he has killed so many people that his boss tells him to lay low for a while. Within this time, Fable should not kill anyone if he does not want a deadly punishment.
