Katsuhisa Minami’s “The Fable” is a hidden gem of a manga that focuses on the story of a legendary/ genius hitman. He completes every task he takes with precision.
However, now he has to take a sabbatical for a year as he has killed numerous people since entering the criminal underworld. Now, this criminal mastermind has to find a way to “not kill.” Not Killing might be the most challenging task that our protagonist has taken in a while.
The manga is finally receiving an anime adaptation, and here are the details.

A teaser visual featuring Fable has been released.
The official website revealed the staff that is going to be working on the anime. Ryusuke Takahashi, the veteran director, will be in charge of the show, and that’s quite a relief.

This anime is a must-watch because it manages to humanize the criminal underworld. It separates itself by showing morally grey and relatable characters. It’s not just about “good” and “bad” that we generally see in Shounen anime.
It also manages to cut its seriousness with its hilarious moments. The manga seriously managed to deliver, and as fans, we can only hope the anime does the same.
