A concerned mother reaches out to Robyn about her son. Robyn suspects that he’s getting caught up in drug deals run by a local gang. She sees Malik get taken away in a van. Upon investigating further it is revealed that it’s actually the DEA that is trying to take advantage of Malik by making him pretend to be a drug dealer.
Malik had to go along with what the DEA was asking of him because he didn’t want to risk losing his scholarship on the basis of the minor drug charge that they were holding over his head.
Robyn decides to get Malik out of his involvement with the DEA by solving the case they were using him for.
An article on the vigilante and the DEA using teenagers from minority backgrounds to become snitches for them gets published, causing the police department to prioritise the vigilante’s arrest now more than ever.
