In Episode 7, titled ‘Return to Work,’ Kinji returned back in time, accompanied by Rim and Ranga this time. Hence the title of the episode, ‘Return to Work.’
Earlier in the episode, the demon lord revealed how Raiza’ha took over the world and granted him the choice to return to Japan.
Nevertheless, Kinji couldn’t go back to Japan, thinking that the employees working like slaves for Raiza’ha need him and opted to go back in time.
Totally in line with who he is, Kinji planned on reaching the ruins beneath the dungeon to reach the Calonian city before Belza, so he could save the world from the Raiza’ha’s exploitation.
The cycle of disappointments, however, continued for him when Wanibe revealed that it’s much tougher to break through the dungeon than how it used to be.

Episode 8 Preview & Speculation
It looks like the demon lord has no intention to lose in the war, so she will fight to the end. She has already planned to create a new timeline where Raiza’ha is prevented from dominating the world.
The demon lord revealed that the Raiza’ha possess immense technologies with the help of which they got on top of the world. This may or may not mean that the Raiza’ha also know the way to go back in time, and we will learn this in the next episode.
Moreover, another disappointment was in line for Kinji when he learnt that his plan is already a failure, but Kinji being himself, will not give up so easily on his goal. After all, he chose the place over returning to Japan.
Nevertheless, the next episode is going to be interesting where we will see what Kinji will do after his plan to reach the ruins before Belza failed.
Episode 8 Release Date
Episode 8 of the The Dungeon of Black Company (2021) anime, titled “Crazy-like Weapon”, has been released on Friday, Aug 27, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 7 Recap
After the demon lord asks Kinji to save the world, she claims that Rim is actually her sister. When Rim says that she doesn’t remember, the demon lord summons Majin, Rim’s twin sister, to prove what she claims.
The demon lord reveals that the Calonian civilization created magical powers and guardians like Rim to manage the flow of magic through the dungeon. When Rim met Kinji and abandoned her dungeon, the dungeon birthed her as a replacement for Rim.
She continues and says that after Kinji disappeared, Raiza’ha got in contact with the ruins and was able to mine all the way to the bottom, using the advanced technology of the Calonian city beneath it to take over the world.
The demon lord again asks Kinji to go back in time and change history by stopping Raiza’ha’s evil deeds. Even though the demon lord gives Kinji the option to either return to Japan or go for the mission she gave him, Kinji chooses to go back in time.
Upon returning, Kinji learns that his debt has been increased to ten million gold as a result of going missing for a month. Nevertheless, Wanibe and Shia are happy to see him back. Shia even offers to share her flat, so Kinji, Rim, and Ranga move to her house.
Later, Kinji shares his plan to get to the ruins beneath the dungeon and reach the Calonian city before Belza, so he can prevent Raiza’ha from taking over the world.
He adds that they will take over their technology, and with superior science and ultimate firepower, then they can build the ultimate immortal dystopia. Unfortunately, Wanibe reveals that the dungeon starting from the third floor are much tougher than before
