Sarase Nagase is a well-known reincarnation series author. And he is back with “The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor,” which is his second work that is receiving an anime adaptation following “I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss” in 2022.
This particular reincarnation anime is known for its incredible female lead and its endearing characters. This anime isn’t the most original series; however, the characters and the execution of all the elements make the series enjoyable.
And here’s all the information that has been released so far.
The official website for Kadokawa Beans Bunko announced that an anime adaptation of Sarasa Nagase’s fantasy light novel series The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor is now in the works.
Kadokawa released a brief promotional video featuring the manga panels with the voice acting by the cast members. The important manga panels, including the first meeting between the main leads, have been showcased in this teaser trailer.
Many fans have pointed out that Jill is a cool person and should have a lower voice as compared to the high voice that is portrayed in the teaser trailer. However, we will have to see if they make changes later.
Azumi Waki (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) will be playing the role of Jill, while Takuya Sato (Moriarty the Patriot) will feature as Emperor Hadis. The information about the main staff members and other cast members hasn’t been announced yet.

The upcoming anime series focuses on Jill, who is sentenced to death by the crown prince, her fiancé. However, just before she dies, she’s sent back in time six years to the party where their engagement had been decided.
To avoid this ruinous route, Jill immediately proposes to the person standing behind her, but he turns out to be her greatest enemy, Emperor Hadis.
Jill knows about his future descent into evil and quickly retracts the proposal. But the delighted Hadis takes her back to his castle and makes her a meal.
Ultimately won over by the food, which sounds like most of us, Jill makes a life-changing decision to make Hadis happy and redo this life with the enemy.
This anime is typical, but it is engaging, and if you are a fan of reincarnation anime, you should give it a go!

The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor novel series is by Sarasa Nagase and illustrated by Mitsuya Fuji.
The plot revolves around Jill who is a young woman doing her life over again. But when she and her fiancé, Hadis, return to the capital, they find the imperial family’s army waiting for them. After being betrayed by family, they could not do anything to avoid their future of ruin. Yet, Hadis is taking advantage of this and enjoying a life of relaxation.
