Gabriel’s Knights attack in episode 7 of The Devil is a Part-Timer!! Season 3 titled “The Hero Weeps.”

The Malebranche Libicocco has raised a huge wind barrier around the school and has expended a lot of energy to keep it up. Suzuno manages to beat him in a fight because of it quickly but is interrupted by Chamuel’s army.

They outnumber the heroes and take them down individually, forcing Satan to manifest and save them from certain death. While they’re distracted, Gabriel sneakily kidnaps both Ashiya and Emi’s dad.

2. Episode 8 Speculation

Gabriel’s Knights have kidnapped Ashiya and Emi’s dad, and Emi is also in their custody. The next episode will have Sadao and everyone else go to the Ueno art museum, hoping to reignite the gate to hell.

Using the magic power of Acieth, Sadao will be able to transform into Satan again and easily dominate the fight against the Archangel. However, they will be expecting his arrival and be equally prepared.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Maou can’t see anything inside the school area because of the storm and waits outside to find an opportunity. Bel easily wins against Libicocco, and Lucifer notices he isn’t fighting like a Malebranche. They threaten to kill him if he doesn’t lift the wind spell on the school, but he refuses.

The storm clouds open up, and a massive barrage of fireballs drop from the sky. An army of Winged Knights surrounds them, and the crimson-armoured leader approaches Lucifer. Ashiya and Emi’s dad have already fallen in battle with the Knights, and they try to take their bodies away.

Suzuno opens a way through the Knights and tries to break through, but Libicocco knocks her down. He grabs Chi and forces her to hand over the shard, but Suzuno screams at her to refuse. Just in time, a massive flash of light pierces through the barrier, and Satan teleports in.

He manifests the sacred sword Better Half and challenges the Malebranche to a duel. Meanwhile, the Archangel Gabriel takes Ashiya and Emi’s dad back to the Demonic Realm. Acieth manifests out of Satan’s body and knocks Chamuel down.

Gabriel teleports here, tells Chamuel and his army to retreat, and tells Sadao to call him later. He lets them know that they have Emi in their custody and won’t be able to avoid a rematch. Ashiya had left a message for Sadao to meet him at the Gates of Hell.

Sadao realizes that it must be the location of the gate at the Ueno art museum that he frequented. He asks everyone to help since he can’t fight Gabriel’s army alone, and everybody is ready to give their lives.

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku (written as 029). ASCII Media Works has published the series in Japan, while Yen Press has published the series in North America.

The story revolves around the Demon Lord Satan after he is stuck in the human world. Satan loses against the hero Emilia in his homeworld Ente Isla. He then takes one of his subordinates – Alciel and transports himself to the human world, where he is left powerless due to the lack of magic.

Both Satan and Alciel take human forms, and Satan takes up a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant to earn a living. Things get even more complicated once Emilia arrives under the guise of a human named Emi Yusa. This light-hearted comedy explores the interactions of “evil” and “good.”
