The Earth is under attack in episode 6 of The Devil is a Part-Timer!! Season 3, titled “The Devil Gets Off to a Late Start.”

A sudden storm rages in the town, and Chi is stuck in the school. She looks out the window and notices a giant demon strolling down the pathway to her school. She uses her Idea Link to send a message to Suzuno and stalls the devil until then.

Meanwhile, Sadao runs into Emi’s father and Acieth at the license center. He immediately senses something is wrong after seeing the storm and getting an emergency signal from Suzuno.

2. Episode 7 Speculation

The demon Libicocco is going on a rampage feeding off the fear and sorrow of humans. Suzuno and Lucifer have arrived in time to stop him, but he will likely outpower them since he’s a leader of the Malebranche.

However, Suzuno and Lucifer’s only goal is to stall the demon until Sadao arrives. Once he and Acieth reach the location, they can easily team up and outpower the devil. He may also be linked to Emilia, so defeating him would be the key to rescuing her.

3. Recap of Episode 6

Chi spots a demon of the Malebranche dragging his club outside the school. She tries to let Sadao know using her idea link, but the signal is blocked. Meanwhile, Sadao’s busy at the license test center, where he runs into Alas Ramus’s sister.

She introduces herself as Acieth Alla, alias being Tsubasa. She also brought her fake dad, who is associated with Ente Isla. He asks him about Emilia, and he immediately panics about her whereabouts and reveals that he is her father.

The Malebranche devil shrieks a battle cry, and Chi runs to the roof and starts singing. The demon jumps out into the ceiling and asks Chi if she is the one who summoned him. They start chatting, and he introduces himself as Libicocco, one of the Malebranche leaders.

Sadao drops off Emilia’s father with Ashiya, where he talks about everything that happened. Meanwhile, Libicocco says he’s come here to rampage through the Earth and fires lightning bolts at all the nearby houses, and the storm begins raging harder.

The fear the rampage invokes is what demons like him feed on, and he laughs joyfully. Suzuno and Lucifer come in the nick of time to save Chi while Sadao and Acieth are on the way. Meanwhile, Ashiya struggles to piece together the whereabouts of Emilia.

Enemies surround their house, and Ashiya is the only one to protect Rika. Emi’s father also wants to help him, but Ashiya hesitates to put someone innocent in harm’s way.

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku (written as 029). ASCII Media Works has published the series in Japan, while Yen Press has published the series in North America.

The story revolves around the Demon Lord Satan after he is stuck in the human world. Satan loses against the hero Emilia in his homeworld Ente Isla. He then takes one of his subordinates – Alciel and transports himself to the human world, where he is left powerless due to the lack of magic.

Both Satan and Alciel take human forms, and Satan takes up a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant to earn a living. Things get even more complicated once Emilia arrives under the guise of a human named Emi Yusa. This light-hearted comedy explores the interactions of “evil” and “good.”
