As chaos unfolds on the ship following the princess’ abduction, Regina and Leonis rush to her rescue while Selia and the others handle the situation with the hostages. Once they connect to the princess telepathically, she tells them her current location along with the ship’s locked course towards a void rift.
Just after Leo saves the princess from the kidnappers, a new enemy appears: a void lord. Even though Leo seems to struggle a bit at first, later, with Selia’s assistance, he overpowers the enemy with his demon sword and ends the battle.

2. Episode 9 Speculation
Episode 9 of ‘The Demon Sword Master’ is titled ‘The City Ruins Appear’. It’ll be a new adventure for Leonis, Selia, and all their friends. After the whole aftermath of Arakael’s attack and problems regarding the attempted abduction of the princess ends, the heroes finally wake up on a peaceful new day.
But what awaits our heroes next, and what will Leo do in order to find his goddess Roselia? The next episode’s title gives the impression of the beginning of something huge. Will this new adventure lead Leonis any closer to his goal or give him some lead toward the goddess? We have to wait for the episode to air officially to know all that.
3. Recap of Episode 8
The secret behind Regina’s true identity is revealed at the very beginning of the video. She tells Leo that, in reality, she’s royalty too and her story about how she ended up in Riselia’s family. She asks Leonis what’s causing all this ruckus and where the princess is.
Leo briefs her on the events that have thrown the entire ship into chaos. He informs that a bunch of demihumans have taken the princess hostage, and some are holding the people in the hall hostage.
As Regina seems indecisive about which side to save first, Leo assures her that Selia and the others are taking care of the people in the hall. The two of them decide to go for the Princess. After reaching where the princess is supposed to be, they discover she has been moved elsewhere.
Seeing the circumstances, Leo tells Regina that the only thing they can do now is to connect to the princess telepathically through her spirit medium. Regina follows his orders and connects to the princess. Her Highness is shocked to see someone connect to the spirit medium but acts logically and gives them the necessary information.
She also tells them that the ship is heading towards a void rift, and if nothing is done about it, People’s lives will be in great danger. Leo tells Regina to go and take control of the ship while he saves the princess.
On her way toward the control room, Regina is assisted by Selia, who has already solved the issue with the other hostages. But now there’s one more problem, the void monsters. Selia takes care of them as Regina moves forward.
On the other side, after Leo stops the demihumans from taking the princess away, he hears something about a goddess from the group’s leader. Before Leo could get any information from her, a void lord suddenly appears, killing her.
Leonis identifies the void lord as the demon lord slayer, the holy blade ‘Zolgstar Mezekis’. Leo’s sorcery proves ineffective against it because of its resistance to magic. While stuck in such a dire situation, Leo receives help from Regina, who uses the ship’s weapons to assist him.
Selia arrives at the battlefield right in the nick of time. As she holds back the void monsters, Leo summons the demon blade ‘Dáinsleif’ once again and puts an end to the void lord with the same attack he used against Arakael.
