Ichikawa and Anna run into a library situation in episode 6 of The Dangers in my Heart titled “I Melted It.”

Getting split up from the rest of the group and finding themselves alone, both of them react differently to the situation. However, they do find quality time with each other, eventually leading to them talking more at school.

Both Yamada and Ichikawa have become closer to each other and begin studying in the library together almost every day. He even helps her out and gets her to reduce the snacks she eats. Initially taken aback, she does listen to him.

Yamada is interested in Ichikawa, and he is also trying to figure out his feelings. Their relationship will likely further develop if not for Shou’s involvement and jealousy, which may prove an obstacle in a future episode.

3. Recap of Episode 6:

Ichikawa and Anna are split from the rest of the group because of a misunderstanding. He feels lucky they were left together alone, but she becomes super sad and begins tearing up while waiting for the next train.

They board onto the next one and stay together so they don’t get split up again. Somehow the conversation reaches relationships, and Anna begins asking more direct questions, making Ichikawa extremely flustered the entire time. 

They finally meet up with the rest of the group and clear things up. The next day on the way to school, Ichikawa runs into Anna waiting for him outside school and walks with him back to school. She lends him the manga he is interested in and immediately begins ranting about the story.

Anna walks into Ichikawa reading a book sitting down, and immediately gets up. She finds that he isn’t reading the manga she lent him and directly goes to grab it but accidentally bumps into him and apologizes. As she tries to leave, Ichikawa finds an attraction brewing toward her.

Later on the stairs, Shou begins questioning him about why he’s just talking to Yamada casually. He continues ranting about her and other girls and starts making him uncomfortable to the point where Ichikawa gets up and leaves, returning to his seat in class.

Later in the day, they run into each other outside the no snacks sign at the library, and they try and deduce who caused that sign to be put up. The librarian says that she found a candy wrapper on the floor, the only reason she put the signup.

However, one little sign cannot stop Yamada as she continues sneaking in chocolates and munching them in the library without getting noticed. She almost gets caught but luckily gets away with it, and the next day Ichikawa runs into her doing homework in the library.

The Dangers in My Heart manga by Norio Sakurai was launched in March 2018. It is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.

The manga focuses on Kyotaro, a school kid who thinks he is messed up because he often thinks violently about his classmates. Just as he plans how to stab the class’ popular girl, she notices him.

Anna, the girl in question, is pretty weird herself, and Kyotaro gets to know her odd nature as they get closer.
