Senkū is determined to understand the events that led to the end of the world and sets up a base-camp to investigate the cause and find a cure.

As time passes, Senkū learns about the details of the catastrophe and creates a compound that will allow him to cure others.

He first revives his friend Taiju Ōki, their classmate Yuzuriha Ogawa, and a famous martial artist named Tsukasa Shishiō, with the hopes of re-establishing the once-thriving human civilization.

Things take an unexpected turn when Tsukasa reveals that he prefers the post-apocalyptic world as he believes the world was initially tarnished and this new earth has set things right.

Tsukasa now intends to construct a new world where those with power and strength shall prevail.

The series follows the journey of Senku and his friends as Senku’s newly formed community based on science faces off with Tsukasa’s group, as they fight to bring back the world as they knew it.

The antagonists are equally strong and intimidating which gives the effective back-and-forth in the equilibrium between good and evil.
