The anime ‘The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses’ follows the story of Hayato, a young man who inherits his grandmother’s abandoned cafe on the beach, only to learn that it is also home to five young ladies who refer to themselves as her family.
Though the show wastes no time getting to the fanservice, there’s more to this anime than that. Hayato is a likable MC who stands out from other harem protagonists, and the heroines are unique and exciting to watch as they are all very different from each other, leading to a successful run for the anime.
The anime adaptation of Kouji Seo’s manga “The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses” ended on Saturday, leaving fans ecstatic with the announcement of a second season set to premiere next year. A visual and promotional video for the second season was also released.

Megami no Cafe Terrace (Goddess Cafe Terrace) is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kōji Seo and serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2021. An anime television series adaptation is set to premiere in 2023.
The story follows Hayato Kasukabe who returns to his hometown following his grandma’s death to close down her cafe Familia. There he meets five girls who were part-timers at Familia and seeing their love for grandma and the place, decides to reopen it.
