God of War: Ragnarok has tons of Nornir Chests scattered throughout all the realms which provide you with materials that can upgrade your maximum health and maximum rage so it’s pretty important to try to open them whenever you spot one. The tricky part is, they’re locked behind a puzzle so completing the puzzle can unlock the chest.
The Below is in Alfheim. After entering, you’ll notice a chest behind a gate. Head around by continuing through The Below, and take the zipline. Cross the gap, past the Hive to the side with another gate. Go right and there’ll be a ledge, drop down and you’ll find the chest.
The puzzle is timed which means you have to hit all the runes with the Leviathan Axe before time runs out. Here are all the locations of the runes:
First Rune
The first rune can be found just at the opposite of the chest. Just turn around and you’ll notice it at your left, hit it with the Axe.
Second Rune
You’ll find this rune behind the previously locked gate. The rune will fall to your left so waste no time and hit it as quickly as possible with the Axe.
Third Rune
This rune will be at the window above the first rune, but you won’t be able to hit it from there. Instead, what you need to do is destroy the Hive nodules and use the grappling points to head to the other side. Drop down and now release the locked door. You’ll now be able to hit all the runes from there.
Hit all the runes within the time limit and you’ll successfully be able to unlock the chest. The chest will provide an Idunn Apple which will upgrade your maximum health.
