The Angel Next Door is a fluffy rom-com that managed to steal the hearts of many. Unlike most shonen romantic comedy series like Komi Can’t Communicate, or Horimiya, which moved quickly, The Angel Next Door is a slow burn.
After twelve episodes of frustration, the couple finally confessed, and it was a swoon-worthy movement. This organic chemistry build-up was liked by many. Now, a sequel has been announced, and here is all the information you need to know about this series.

The teaser visual features Mahiru on the swing, most probably from the same park featured in the first season. The visual also includes a text that says, ” Amane, I have been waiting for you.”
The author, Saeki, was pleased with the second season’s production. He said, “I think we will be able to show the two of them consciously flirting with each other, a complete change from the frustrating relationship they had in the first season; they did not end up dating till the end, so now I hope you will be able to watch them together. I’m so happy!” he sent a message touching on the developments in the second season.
The staff members and the cast members will most likely return for the second season, but this information isn’t confirmed yet.
The first season of the anime was brilliant. Instead of relying on comedy or warp-speed narrative points, The Angel Next Door relies more on the heartfelt interactions between Amane and Mahiru to build their relationship realistically.
While the anime was beautiful, fans still complained about the animation quality. They believed the anime had a lot of wrong perspectives and hoped the second season could work on this problem.
Regardless of the problems, it is remarkable, and fans are excited for the second season.
