The story is about the Isekai genre. It revolves around Shingo Ichinomiya, an average salaryman who one day wakes up to find himself in a magical fantasy world. His new life is as Wendelin von Benno Baumeister, the eighth Son of the noble Baumeister family.

One day Shingo finds out that he is endowed with magical powers, and Alfred, an undead former court wizard guides him to train his powers. Shingo soon becomes a swordsman and a mage and makes a name for himself as a brave adventurer.
