Netflix has released a new clip from their upcoming young adult-detective film, Enola Holmes 2. In this clip, Tewkesbury shares a special moment with Enola Holmes as he teaches her how to dance.
The film is a sequel to the 2020 Netflix original Enola Holmes, based on Nancy Springer’s young adult fiction series of the same name. The film is based on the book The Case of the Left-Handed Lady and will trace the journey of Enola tracking the missing Lady Cecily Alistair.
It stars Millie Bobby Brown as the younger sister of popular detective, Sherlock Holmes. Henry Cavill will once again be starring as Sherlock Holmes. Louis Partridge, Adeel Akhtar, Susie Wokoma, and Helena Bonham Carter will also be reprising their supporting roles.
A recently released clip from the upcoming film sees Enola facing a challenge during her investigation. She needs to blend in with the crowd to be able to ask questions, for which she needs a quick lesson in ball-dancing. To be able to dance well and participate in a waltz, she decides to take the help of the Viscount, Tewkesbury, who has been learning to dance since he was five.
In the short clip, Enola approaches Tewkesbury and asks him to teach her how to dance. After a few quick questions, Tewkesbury agrees to help her out and the two share a brief romantic moment.
The clip begins with a ‘breaking of the fourth wall’ in the typical Enola-Holmes-style. Enola speaks to the camera and explains how she regrets not being better prepared. She confesses that dancing is not one of her strong suits.
Lucky for Enola, the Viscount’s ‘timing is impeccable’. Before the Viscount teaches Enola how to dance, she tells Tewkesbury what she has actually been up to.
“I’m looking for a murderer, though I shouldn’t have told you that. Forget I told you that. I’m trying to save a girl’s life.

The clip teases that we will see Enola and Tewkesbury spending more time together in the sequel. Fans of the first film have been looking forward for a romantic development between the two and it seems the writers are finally taking a step in the right direction.
This short clip proves that they also share the perfect chemistry. However, they must not forget that there’s a murderer out on the loose. Similar to the first film, fans expect Tewkesbury to help Enola out once again in solving the crime.
Enola Holmes 2 will premiere on Netflix on November 4, 2022.
