Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “Feast your eyes on Terminator Zero red band trailer.”
Unlike any previous incarnation of the Terminator franchise, this brief trailer of Terminator Zero promises a unique blend of brutal, sophisticated action that will surely have you hooked. The new mini poster that was also unveiled at the event shows us a glimpse of the dark side as well.
What The Makers Have to Say
Talking about the show after the release of the first six-minute sneak peak of the series, creator and executive producer Mattson Tomlin said, “I realized the first minutes of the show have to declare what it is. The way to do that was to have a sequence that had no dialogue, that was really planting a flag in letting everybody know this is going to be violent, it’s going to be dark, it’s going to be action-driven, it’s going to be horrific, and it’s going to be arresting.”
‘Terminator Zero’ will take place in both 2022 and 1997. Talking about the main character Eiko, he added, “She’s planned this. Getting to that sky bridge, blowing it up, getting him right there in this precarious situation, she knows she can’t beat him. You can’t fucking kill a Terminator. So, what can she do? She can put distance between them by dropping him 1,000 [feet] into this garbage pit below.”
Moreover, another video of the creators talking about the process behind the animation of the series was also released.
With so much content building up the anticipation, don’t miss out on the action-packed Terminator Zero on Netflix, premiering Thursday, August 29. Mark your calendars and get ready for a thrilling ride!
