Tensura Season 2 Part 2: Where to Watch, Release Date & More

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or TenSura Season 2 is a Winter 2021 anime that concluded its first part in March this year.

Similar to many recent anime, TenSura has also been split into two cours, with each running for 12 episodes. Now fans are ready to rev up for the ultimate Demon Lord Rimuru to come on screen!

With an atypical isekai harem where the protagonist gets reincarnated into a slime of all things, you would think it’s boring. But! TenSura is here to prove you wrong on many levels.

A slime who gets the power of consuming everything from magical spells to massive dragons is impressive enough.

However, built with the power of kindness, pretty face, and raze to get both guys and girls, is what makes Rimuru everyone’s favorite.

With over 36 episodes of a slime taking over monsters and ruling over kingdoms, waiting for the next arc is a game of patience.

The last we saw was Rimuru rising up to become the ultimate demon lord. However, the series’ part 1 ended on a ridiculous cliff-hanger of the dead coming back to life.

We even get a glimpse of Veldora in a newly created body. (Simp Material Alert!)

Although TenSura took a long break (or at least it felt like one to us fans!), it also gave us a slice-of-life spin off, Slime Diaries, with Rimuru vacationing with friends. Nevertheless, Season 2 is now back with a boom.

Veldora, Diabolo and Rimuru’s onscreen chemistry will be quite a sight to the viewers as the power level is beyond imagination!

3. About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime

That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.

The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.

Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
