Following the grand finale showing of the ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated As Slime: Scarlet Bond’ anime film in Japan, a new three-episode original animation for the franchise was announced.
Furthermore, the staff has released new information regarding the upcoming original anime that sent a big wave of happiness and excitement among the fans of the series.
On Wednesday, the official website for anime adaptations of Fuse and Mitz Vah’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel series unveiled a promotional video for three-episode That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus’ Dream. All three episodes will begin streaming on November 1.
The new video shows the general premise of the upcoming anime, with Rimuru traveling around the world with his friends. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Coleus’ Dream is a special new anime project exploring more of Primordial Violet and the Coleus Kingdom
The video also reveals the cast and opening theme song “Hikari Hanatsu” by Takuma Terashima, who voices Satoru.

Coleus’ Dream is an original short story written by Fuse that was included with the second season’s Blu-ray release. The OVA was announced last year, along with the premiere date for the third season – spring 2024. The series is also known as Tensura among fans.
Knowing that ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime’ was making a comeback created such a big buzz in the anime world, and the new trailer has only made it bigger and the patience of fans weaker.
About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.
The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.
Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
