The final episode of Tensura season 2 showed Clayman’s humiliating defeat at the hands of Rimuru. The banquet of Walpurgis took a bizarre turn, and it turned out that the dude was trapped on all sides.
Though Clayman has been defeated, some mysteries remain. This remarkable villain awed me with his cunningness, and now that he has taken his leave, the series’ creator knows exactly what to do.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will receive a new spinoff manga based on Clayman, and its title will be TenSura: Clayman Revenge.
The spinoff will debut in the Monthly Shōnen Sirius magazine on April 26, 2022. Wataru Kajika will be in charge of the manga.
Demon Lord Clayman wasn’t physically superior, but his wit had taken him far into the game. His harsh and cold nature was shown in the anime.
He always valued people based on their uses and was quick to get rid of people once they were useless to him.
You must have cheered your heart out when Shion and Rimuru beat the living hell out of Clayman. So, why is this villainous guy even getting a spinoff?
Well, despite being ruthless, Clayman had proved to be loyal and gentle towards some people like the Moderate Harlequin Alliance.
Even during his final moments, he refused to divulge any details about his superiors or comrades. His life was on the line, and he still chose death over betrayal.
A spinoff will be in high demand at the moment, especially due to the Demon Lord’s secretive character. Will the villain get resurrected in this spinoff? I would prefer background details overthrowing Rimuru under the bus.
About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.
The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.
Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
