That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Chapter 90 titled “The Monster Federation and the Holy Empire” was the latest chapter released for the manga.

So far, we saw King Edmaris admitting how he selfishly led his people to war and asking his council to decide whether they should continue the fight or not. Rimuru becomes the eighth Demon Lord and chooses to celebrate the occasion by hosting a grand festival.

Will the Falmuth Kingdome form a peaceful alliance with Rimuru, or will Edward become just as greedy as his successor? What is going to happen after Walpurgis? We’ll find out in the next chapter of TenSura.

In the previous chapter Demon Lord Clayman has finally been defeated, and Rimuru has officially assumed the title of a Demon Lord. As he proceeds to celebrate his victory, he and the rest of the Tempest will enjoy a grand festival.

As the story progresses, Rimuru begins his search for Kazaream, a legendary Demon Lord. The Falmuth Kingdom has also been defeated, and it’ll be interesting to see how the two parties form a diplomatic relationship.

5. Chapter 89 Recap

The chapter begins in the court where King Edmaris admits to selfishly leading his people to the war.

Now that they have been defeated, he asks his councilmen to decide whether to face the repercussions of losing or keep fighting. He emphasizes that they must choose based on what’s best for their people.

Just then, a messenger arrives, announcing the death of Marionette Master. Both the Beast Master and the Sky Queen relinquished their Demon Lord status and joined the ranks of the Destroyer. Now, the Ten Great Demon Lords shall be known as Octagram.

The court is confused as the numbers don’t add up. The messenger informs that Rimuru seems to be the eighth lord. After Rimuru defeated Marionette Master, he became a Demon Lord. This comes as a great shock to everyone.

Knowing that they’re no match for Rimuru, they decide to pay the reparations for losing the war. The king announces that he will abdicate the throne and have Edward succeed him. 

The morning after Diabolo’s report, Shuna and Souei returned from Clayman’s Castle. Hakurou is currently working with Geld to investigate and organize the Spoils. He’s also in charge of intrusting the prisoners in the castle.

Benimaru also returned home that night. He tells Rimuru that the Three Beastketeers are also arriving. They prepare to make arrangements for everyone to stay.

Several days later, Diablo makes the other part sign a peace agreement and returns with a full report. He presents the documents as well as the partial payment for the reparations. Rimuru asks him whether the war will happen as planned, and he replies that it will happen without a doubt.

Soon, Gabiru arrives with the beastmen and the prisoners from the castle. He brings a letter from Milim where she announces that she’ll bring her caretakers along with her on the next visit.

A month later, everyone gathers after things settle down for a bit. Rimuru happily announces that he has officially been inaugurated as a Demon Lord. He says that his domain will include the entirety of the Great Forest of Jura.

Rimuru then tells everyone that they’ll have a grand festival in this celebration, and it will also help everyone let off some steam. The chapter ends with a council of Demon Lords commencing as they discuss their most recent member. 

6. About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime

That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime is a Japanese manga series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. It was serialized online in 2013 but was later shifted to Micro Magazine as a light novel in 2014. It currently has 21 volumes.

The story of Tensei Shitara Slime follows the journey of Satoru Mikami after he died and reincarnated as a slime in fantasy land. A slime is a creature that reproduces the form and powers of anything that it absorbs or eats.

Satoru starts eating all the magical herbs and crystals in the cave he woke up in and stumbles upon a dragon who had been captured and couldn’t move due to a barrier. Since both of them had nothing else to do, they befriend each other. The dragon accidentally makes Satoru a named monster, and Satoru promises him that he’d find a way to break the barrier. Hence, an unknown journey begins with this unusual friendship.
