Temple of Light Statue Puzzle Guide in God of War Ragnarok

You will get stuck with the Temple of Light Statue Puzzle when you venture into the Alfheim area, which is among the game’s more challenging arenas.

You’ll find two statues in a room at the top of the twisting staircase while looking for Groa’s Shrine. While the one on the right stands upright, the one on the left is leaning off its foundation. The door can be opened by following these steps.

Start by having Atreus shoot a sonic arrow at the statue’s base to your right.

Pull the right statue over.
  • It will slant to the right as a result.
  • Pull it to the left with your blades to create a path for climbing around it when it begins to lean.
  • Once you stand up, you can grapple across the room and behind the other statue, where there is another object to destroy with sonic bolts on its back.
Get up behind the left statue, yank it left, and smash the connector.
  • The statue on the left will then sag much further.
  • Now pull this one to the left using your chains (from behind).
  • As a result, a connector will be exposed, which you can dismantle by throwing your axe and breaking off one of its wings.
Bounce your ax off the back of its shield to break the other connector.
  • The shield with the twilight stone on it will bend forward as you snap off the second wing by hurling your axe at the back of it.
  • Return to the opposite side and examine the shield there.
  • Now that you can hurl your axe from this angle, you can make it strike a stone close to the exit.
Climb up opposite and angle your ax off the shield from here to open the door.

If you keep investigating, you’ll eventually find the Alva boss encounter, which will test your ability to use shield strikes.
