The latest gameplay trailer for Tekken 8 revealed another popular character’s return, Lili. She will be dressed in a brand-new costume designed by Lady Jasmin Darnell. Other characters include Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, King, Jun Kazama, Leroy Smith, and more.
Bandai Namco has worked on the new gameplay mechanics with the sole purpose of refining the classic Tekken experience. Apart from Sony and Microsoft, even third-party developers can now easily implement cross-platform play.
In the coming months we can expect more details to be revealed. Many veteran characters are still missing from the playable roster. There’s also not much information available about upcoming DLCs, storyline and gameplay. Tekken 8 will be a heavyweight game for PS5 users owing to its massive SSD.
Although Tekken 8 was announced in 2018, it is yet to receive an official launch date. By the lack of news available, it looks like there’s still plenty of time left before the action title is released.
