Ian Bohen is joining the cast of Superman & Lois. He has previously appeared alongside Tyler Hoechlin (Superman/Clark Kent) in Teen Wolf.
As the show has started fleshing out its upcoming season two for 2022, new additions are being made to the cast. Bohen will star as Lt Mitch Anderson, playing out the “the new sheriff in town” trope at the Department of Defense.
The character is said to see the world in black and white, where they are those who serve and those who are served. As Superman doesn’t adhere to this, Anderson is determined to set him straight and get the superhero officially under his authority.
DC Comics does have a character called Outburst with the civilian persona Mitch Anderson. But as of yet, it is unknown if this is the same character the show is employing or if it will have a new spin to it.
A fun fact is that Bohen is not entirely new to DC, as he once played an unnamed officer in The Dark Knight Rises. But it is quite nice to officially welcome him into this new, central role.
No other new additional cast or plot details have been revealed, but it is expected that the main gang from Season 1 will be reprising their roles: Hoeclin as Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, and Jordan Elsass and Alex Garfin as their sons
Bohen celebrates the news in a tweet, cheekily captioned “the wolf is out of the bag” — a nod to his days on Teen Wolf, alongside Hoeclin, where they played the uncle-nephew duo, Peter and Derek Hale.
Although reunited on Superman and Lois, Teen Wolf days may not be over for the two actors yet, as the franchise is headed toward a revival via a Paramount+ original movie.
