Teen Wolf: The Movie will be releasing on January 26, 2023, on Paramount+. As per the plan so far, Paramount+ will be the only platform where the movie will be available.
Teen Wolf, which was loosely inspired by the 1985 film of the same name, was originally developed for MTV. Here, it ran from 2011 to 2017. As we’re now in the era of streaming, series creator Jeff Davis signed a deal with Paramount+ and MTV Entertainment Studios in 2021 to develop Teen Wolf: The Movie.

I’m sure you’re excited to see some of your favorite familiar faces! For Teen Wolf: The Movie, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelly, Melissa Ponzio, Dylan Sprayberry, Tyler Hoechlin, Khylin Rhambo, Ian Bohen, and Roscoe will be reprising their roles.
Sadly, as you can discern from the list, Dylan O’Brien won’t be returning, as won’t Arden Cho and Cody Christian.
We do have some new castmates, though. Vince Mattis will play Derek Hale’s 15-year-old son, Eli, while Amy Workman has joined in an unspecified role.
Plot
The movie will take place a few years after the 2017 Teen Wolf series finale. However, the exact timeline has not yet been specified.
We return to Beacon Hills, which is once again terrorized by a mysterious evil entity. Along with this, the movie will also feature banshees, hellhounds, werecoyotes, and the kitsunes that the audiences have seen in the previous seasons.
The biggest surprise appearance is that of Allison Argent, who breathed her last in Season 3. We can’t help but question how she came back to life. Is it even her? What role will she play in the film? The answers to these questions will make up a huge chunk of the film.
Plus, it is possible that the Teen Wolf legacy will be carried forward through Eli’s storyline.
