Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 10: Release Date, Recap, and Speculation

With three episodes left till the end of season 3, and no official renewal for season 4, the latest episode of Ted Lasso seems to be tying some loose ends and setting up others for the season, possibly series, finale. Isaac’s problem wasn’t with Colin being gay but with him keeping it a secret & Colin came out to the whole team, who accepted him wholeheartedly.

Keeley & Jack are done, leaving a spot open for Roy or Jamie in the PR consultant’s life. Ted and Michelle seem to be welding well during Henry’s parent-teacher meeting; Jade’s influence on Nate is working well enough for him to leave Rupert’s side; and Roy takes his life’s reins and rides it confidently.

1. Episode 10 Synopsis/Speculation

While some of the Greyhounds head home to play for their countries in international matches, Edwin Akufo brings a business proposal to Rebecca.

Now that Keeley and Jack are basically finished, who are you rooting for to end up with Keeley? Jamie or Roy? Or would you rather she rock the single-girl boss life? I vote for Roy because they were so cute together.

Ted & Michelle also seem to be getting warmer toward each other, and Nate & Jade’s relationship also seems to be flourishing. But what about Rebecca and the psychic’s comment about her destined partner carrying a green matchbook? And will Rupert create hurdles for Nate’s new relationship to ensure his team’s coach is ready to seek blood?

Next week, some of Richmond’s players will be leaving to play international matches representing their home countries. 

But as soon as they leave their team for the shortest time, the eagles descend! We’re talking about Edwin Akufo, who you must remember as the millionaire recruiter who threw a fit after Sam ditched him for Rebecca’s team.

Is he coming over in season 3 to poach Sam or another player, and that’s why he wants to meet and discuss a new business proposal with Rebecca?

5. Episode 9 Recap

Rebecca asks Roy to take over a conference from Ted, but he hands it to Beard, who gets into a heated debate with the press over who’s the best guitarist. Rebecca reprimands him and asks him to take control of his life and not abandon something when it gets serious.

Meanwhile, after learning Colin’s secret, Isaac treats Colin rudely and even gets into a fight with him in the first half of the Brighton match. After he blows up at a fan for using a homophobic slur, he is given a red card, thus plunging AFC Richmond into a disappointing first half.

After he storms off, the team assumes his reaction is because he is gay, but Colin comes out to clear any miscommunication. Despite his worries, the team and coaches accept him. 

Later, Isaac confesses that he wasn’t mad at him due to his preferences but because he kept it a secret. The two share a sweet moment, and my heart can’t help but see a ship there, though Colin assures Isaac that he sees him as a friend.

Roy takes Rebecca’s advice and does the conference, showing love to his team and telling a story about why he decided to become a football coach. Keeley gets a text from Jack saying they’ll be out of the country for a few months, which sounds like a ghosting/breakup text to me.

Nate jumps at the chance to have dinner with Rupert but seeing his cheating ways and his attempts to bring Nate to the dark side as well, he leaves. He visits Jade, who is undoubtedly a good influence on him and simply hugs her for comfort.

Ted Lasso is an American sports-comedy streaming TV series developed by Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt. It’s based on a character of the same name that Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League.

It follows the life of Ted Lasso, a coach of college-level American football who is unexpectedly recruited to coach an English Premier League team, AFC Richmond, despite having no experience at all in association football.

It stars Sudeikis as the titular character, Ted Lasso, joined by Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, Juno Temple, and Sarah Niles among many others.
